This girl is on fire

Meanwhile in an Alternate Reality to Frozen's Universe. "Burned" Opposite Universe. . .

Here's what I imagine happening.


In this timeline(So it's not necessarily in character since your character is built by your experience.), Anna, the daughter of a rich Governor and his family in a California-esque state in a modern nation(instead of a medieval kingdom) was born with Fire magic in a modern world where Magic had long gone extinct since the medieval eras and went undiscovered by modern science.

Her fire magic activates when she feels strong emotion.

She's like a normal girl normally, bubbly and excitable, but due to being spoiled and used to getting what she wants she can blow up with rage if she doesn't, it was first discovered when she was a baby, her crib burned as she screamed and cried with anger, parents fearing the worst thought they were watching their baby burn, but no, the baby was fine, it was the crib that burned. Since then(after putting it out) she was spoiled as much as she wanted. Religious, the wife thought the child had been blessed with a gift by god while the Father believed one of his little girls was cursed by the devil to test him but didn't hold this against his daughter.

Young Anna and her sister, Elsa, who love each other very much still can't help but tease and annoy each other as siblings, Elsa is advised to not tease her too much but she forgot and felt she had every right, she knew of her power and keeps it secret they sometimes play by Anna hugging her tight lifting them up into the air using her flames as jets to fly up. But this time, they were arguing.



In a fit of rage, Anna throws a fire ball at her sister, quickly the fire is put out but she is unconscious and suffering from severe burns on her head which are treated at a hospital. Anna is worried in the waiting room, crying and scared, being calmed by her mother. Her father, terrified and unsure what to do, is consoled by a magic being that comes to him, the last of their kind, an air fairy from the skies, believing it's an angel he listen to it's every word, that Elsa is fine, if it missed her heart, if her heart had burned away no medicine could fix her. Removes memories of event, etc similar to Frozen. Father goes to Anna and declares that she must never, ever, use her powers, Anna says she can't help it, she begins to get angry at her powers and her hands flare , almost burning her father, she gasps and wants to, he tells her she must always calm herself, never get too excited or angry or anything, if flames appear, she must calm down. And worst of all. She must never interact with Elsa. Knowing how siblings always fight.

Elsa is released and Anna stays as far away as possible. In the years to come, the young child tries to control themselves out of fear of what they can do. And ignores her sister no matter what locking herself in her room. She once asks her father that she wants to be a politician too, and this idea is further re-enforced as one must be calm, and she especially shouldn't show her powers to anyone. They would think she's a demon.

Inside her Self-hatred grows she stops interacting with everyone commonly, entering a private school she is mocked by other more popular children, and she has to take it, it's traumatic, it's infuriating, sometimes she imagines using her powers, but she cannot. It's too traumatic, too horrible, it would disappoint her father. Other children think her character is freaky and take advantage, and she has trouble making friends.

Time passes, and her parents are killed in a plane crash set off by a sudden volcanic eruption and turbulence and complications following. After the grief she finally runs, and after a hard hostile election which mocked her outgoing personality which sometimes shows itself, she wins. And a party is thrown in her honor by friends of her father, including a retired politician from another state. Her sister helps and comes, and for the first time, Anna decides to talk to her.

Especially as Elsa makes it after breaking up with someone. Elsa in an emotional fit(especially while tired, having not slept for the election event.) after being supported and after a meeting with the politician who reminisces about their father and tries to chat, denied by the normally chatty Anna and Elsa is distracted by him for a while wonders why Anna never cared before, Anna is hurt and says she did. She wonders why she was ignored, Anna says that's how it is. Elsa walks away. After remembering her time with the unfaithful and deceptive boyfriend, how they shared experiences, her red streak of hair, she walks back, and they argue. Her childhood enemies, crashing the party, mock her.


As Anna tries to calm herself and tell to Elsa to go. She gets angry and begins to feel warm, she tries to calm down, while Elsa tired of treating Anna like a princess (taunt from youth, where she'd say she is.) says what she thinks not afraid of her rage as their parents advised and rips the sleeve of her suit. Enraged, Anna tells Elsa to shut up and leave while a ring of Fire surrounds her, people back away and it spreads. The ex-politician gasps. "Hell fire! This woman is a demon!" he proclaims as people evacuate, the mansion burns down around her, and she gasps at what she's done. The smoke and ember don't seem to phase her as she runs out of the building as the sun sets, Fire trucks rush to the scene as people are confused, they ask the new Governor if she is alright and she backs away from them in fear. Bumping into a car and touching it which causes it bursts into flames. "The Anti-Christ is not in there!" the Governor yells running out with 2 retired priest buddies. "Don't go near her!" yells the governor as he sees her.

"This girl is on fire!" someone yelled as they looked at her burning hands.   "She's walking on fire!" As they look at her burning footsteps and heels. 

"Wait, wait, don't be scared!" Anna yells as magic shoots from her hands and lights up the ground in front of him and 2 retired priests near him as they approach. 

"Demon! Demon!" claims the ex-governor, Anna runs, fire spreading as she does.

Elsa is shocked and tries to run after her with the piece of red fabric, but cannot, overwhelmed by the flame and smoke.

Elsa is asked about being a demon, she says no and claims Anna isn't either, the old ex-governor argues he had to pat out a flame, Elsa goes to make this right, the Governor agreeing..

Elsa gets in her car, and tries to make this right.

Dusk, as the sun sets, walking along a highway next to a large forested Californian mountain, Anna is shocked. Everything happened exactly as it was told. She begins to sing.  

♪ "She's just a girl and she's on fire..." she sings as she goes over the claims

♪ "Hotter than a Fantasy (she looks at her burning yet painless and unharmed hand)... Lonely like a Highwayyy..."

♪ "She's living in a world and It's on fire(she sings lost in thought over her life's difficulties)..."

A police car approaches.

♪ "Feeling the Catastrophe. But she knows she can fly away!" she sings as her heels explode off her bare feet, Jets of flame propelling her up."

She lands on a farther mountain.

♪ "Oh, She got both feet on the ground! And she's burning it down...." she sings as she watches, sadly, flame spread from her feet in a wave as she landed, up to trees that burst into flames a forest fire quickly spreading.

She jumps up, propelled again all the way to the clouds.

♪ "Oh, "she got her head in the clouds." she quotes a taunt from opposing candidates. ( Her rage begins to bubble up, it isn't fair, she can't use her powers, "she can't be governor" well she won, and now, the secrets' out, she's doomed, she's far from her sister, there is no reason she can't use her powers.) ♪ "'And she's not backing down' !" she quotes, a smirk on her face.

Suddenly she flares up, a bright sun-like light in the sky over the mountain and city, the clouds evaporating as she yells what she remembered a bystander saying.

♪ "THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE!!!!" as she crashed to earth like a meteor over the hillside a crater exploded and she walked out. As she walked her clothes were on fire as she did.

♪ "This Girl is on fire!!!"

♪ "She's walking on Fire!!"

♪ "This girl is on fire!!" She exclaimed, as she walked in the blaze, angry, excited, both feelings on her face, giving an "evil smirk".

♪ "Looks like a girl, but she's a FLAME!" she says as her clothes burn away, she melts her flag pin and she messes up her hair, her body covered by burning material forming a dress around her, in the shape of she had always wanted to wear to parties she could never attend.


Animals ran and some look at her, running around, blinded as she flared up.

♪ "So bright she can burn your eyes!" she said, a smirk on her face.

♪ "Better look the other way!"

♪ "You can try but you'll never forget her name!" she sang, as she began to grow her withered self-esteem like a flame, deciding she was not holding back.

♪ "She's on top of the world!" she claimed as she reached the top, overlooking the city.

She then loses her smirk as memories of what her bullies told her return.

♪ "Hottest of the hottest girls say." as she created mannequins of them out of flame, and of young teen her, curled up on the ground.

♪ "Oh, 'We got our feet on the ground!' 'And we're burning it down!' Ohhh oh oh oh oh oh! 'Got our head in the clouds! And we're not coming down'!!!" she mocked looking at the scene angrily and rolling her eyes.

She then animates the mannequin of her burning the others, as they writhe and scream as the fire finishes burning the burned materials and they vanish with the hot wind.

She smiles, a look of satisfaction.

She then runs down the hillside towards the city, it's lights twinkling as night falls , yelling at the top of her lungs.

♪ "THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE!!!!" she yells, extending her hands as a flame design appears in the middle of the spreading forest fire. Onlookers gasping in horror.

♪ "This girl is on fire!!!"

♪"She's walking on FIRE!!!!"

♪ "This girl is on FIRE!"

♪ "Oh oh oh" she sings as she lets out her pent up frustration in spreading flame.

Fire fighters suddenly come face to face with her, they stare.

♪ "Everybody stares as she goes by!" she sings as they stare at the smirking girl.

♪ " 'Cause they can see the flame that's in her eyes!"

♪ "Watch her as she's lighting up the night!"

The fire fighters are shocked, they try to use their water on her but her heat vaporizes it, they yell about the demon and Anti-Christ rumors, once ridiculous compared to the rumor it was an asteroid impact. She loses her smile and becomes sad.

♪ "Nobody knows that she's a lonely girl..." she sings as she holds her arm, tears vaporize on her face as the hot wind blows her hair she crouches.

♪ "..and it's a lonely world.." she sings as she crouches down into a ball.

She then smiles, a smile of malace as she extends her arms and body flaring up to intense brightness. 

♪ "But she's gon' let it BURN BABY BURN BABY!" as the fire fighters run and drive away a shockwave of hot wind flattening burning trees and extending the fire's range into the city.

♪ "This girl is on fire!!!"

♪ "This girl is on fire!!!"

♪ "She's walking on FIRE!!!!"

♪ "This girl is on FIRE!" She sings as she comes back up to the mountain the air roaring and vibrating around her from intense heat.

♪ "Oh oh oh oh ohhhh oh oh oh" (x4)

She watches the city limits burn. Seeing it as her terrible memories burning. And smiles.  The sound of helicopters, fire alarms and sirens filling the night along with the crackle of thousands of flames and the sound and sight of Fire Tornadoes.   She doesn't mind the destruction, they can run.  They can always run.  Unlike her. 

Meanwhile the visiting governor who is religious thinks she's a demon and being a powerful rich lobbyist hires hitmen(soon) and drive towards flames with fire fighters against their advice.
